The more symbolic the story, the more meaning you hope to convey, the more you have to avoid spelling things out. You need to give them room to make their own answers or room to miss it completely. Which is why I dislike the very very very spelled out ending.

Otherwise I liked it.

EnameledKoi responds:

Thanks for playing and giving feedback! It's a tightrope walk I'm trying to balance, making sure people can find the end while not making it seem stupidly easy. As it is, some people never find the end at all. I'm working on some solutions to guide you eye back to the mirror and make the links a little more hidden. I'll also do a pass on the ending text and see if there's a way to spell everything out less without being too vague. Thanks again :)

Characters keep pausing in place randomly now, even since you fixed the looter ring thing

laFunk responds:

You mean they pause momentarely, right? That should be the "recovery" of their attacks: the bigger the attack speed, the lower the recovery (and startup) of the attack.

Hm, if nobody has mentioned yet, I think I found a bug in the ruins, on the right map portion of the first area, the triangular rock, with the gradually lowering wall and so on, there is a opening in the map that allows me to run around off screen.

Hyptosis responds:

haha, good catch, no one has ever mentioned it! :P

Fun. and while it might be more satisfying, the problem is all of your games at this point are demo's you keep stopping, the only way to really solve that problem is take it in parts. Its better to it a part at a time, rather then burn yourself out doing it all at once.

Muja responds:

That's true, I guess. Lately I haven't been able to finish a single project, mainly because I kept chaing my mind on what to do next.
But that's a better reason NOT to split my videogames in parts, 'cause I could abandon the project along the way more easily.

If I finish the full version of the game before posting it, it'll be more satisfying fot you players, too.
Thanx for the review! :)

Pretty interesting, only really annoying part for me might be how it seems to lag as I try to make lines, limiting me to very, very bare bones drawings. Granted I am not the best artist, but it does not help. I am left to assume this is a problem on my part but just pointing it out in case.

Mattster responds:

If you experience lag, try using a different browser (I have experienced lag in Firefox, but then Chrome works perfectly).

...An actual review.

Or not...

EDIT: Zolen sent me what constitutes as an actual review in a PM. He apparently meant to post the following:

"Interesting a funny combination of memes and a relatively original spin on a basic idea of the "save the princess" concept. I actually had a lot of fun, but at one point I made a mistake and died and when I wondered if I would have to start all over or if there was a continue somewhere I found a helpful menu where I could easily skip all the way to the end, while that is nice for those who don't have the time for beating the entire game but want to see the end, it would be nicer if there were the starter points would be less spread out allowing those who don't want to skip a part but don't want to start all over again a reasonable jumping point. Then again I have no programing ability of my own so this may be out of your ability or simply to data wasting, so otherwise I see this as a 10/10 and a 5/5.

Fun and entertaining which makes a basic puzzle game interesting enough to want to get to the next part."

My response would be:

No, it's not impossible at all to start on any level, but that would render the whole lives system redundant. Those levels were supposed to be checkpoints, and if people wanted to skip over levels, then that's their choice. If you died on level 8, you're supposed to start on level 6 again.

Awesome "demo"

I liked the animations you picked and the intro, but I would like to note a possible glitch, in which several times through the game, it would freeze up on a animation, leaving me unable to do anything till I loaded, several times till I had to refresh, because not even reloading would do, it took 2 times of this before it started working right. (probably was my own fault, the internet was flashing when I was playing the first time)

Otherwise awesome, and yes, I agree with juliogarou, update/finish. (I am left to assume you never finished. )

Muja responds:

Hey!
This game has a few glitches it's true, and I abandoned this project also because I rreckoned I had to do a major re-scripting,
The other reason is that nobody seems to care about Lupin 3, so people ain't really playing my game. ^_^

So, I'm sorry but I guess I'm never going to finish this. A pity, because it was funny for me.

Thank you for your review! ;)

fun and random

I knew it, I always knew there was such things as fire zombies!

Fro responds:

Perhaps a fire zombie game is in the making for the future.
